dc.description.abstractDetermination of water and nitrogen (N) content in NPK fertilizers has been carried out at the Center for Germinatio11 and Plant Protection for Fertilizer Plantations. The 1nethod used in determi,iing the water content using the gravi,netric method a,zd determining tlie nitrogen content using the Kjeldahl method which i,zcludes three stages, namely destrz,ctionJ distillation and titratio1z. Based on the results of the a11alysis, the water content in PA Mutiara = 0.028% a,id PA Tawon = 0.029% which is still below the maximum limit of 3%. For total nitrogen co,ztent obtained PA Mutiara = 6.04% and PA Tawon = 6.49%. The results of this analysis indicate that tlze nitrogen conte,zt is in accordance with the quality standard of SNI 2803:2010 where the standard is set with a mini1ni,m li11zit of6%.en_US
