Analisis Pengaruh Pengangguran dan Jumlah Penduduk terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia di Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara Tahun 2006-2021

Abstract

The Human Development Index is one form of improving Human Resource Development. Human Development is also a necessary aspect aimed at solving problems that exist in society. The basic problems in society include unemployment, population and so on. Human development is broad in scope, therefore we need an indicator that aims to find out what factors must be improved so that the goals of human development can be achieved. Furthermore, a Human Development Index is made which can be seen from various components as a simple form of human development and measures the level of influence of unemployment and population on the human development index in an area. There are two components of the Human Development Index, namely unemployment and population in North Tapanuli Regency. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how big the relationship between the two components is to the Human Development Index in North Tapanuli Regency. The research method used is the multiple linear regression method, namely the relationship between the dependent variable and two or more independent variables (Independent). The results obtained by using the multiple linear regression method that the conclusion is that unemployment, population has a significant effect on the Human Development Index. This research was conducted by taking secondary data regarding the Human Development Index in North Tapanuli Regency from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra Province which began in 2006 until 2021.
