The aims of this study is to determine the optimization model of revenue management
at the airline ticket sales that implement dynamic pricing and overbooking policy. This
research is the study of literature in various relevant references which is begun by learning
the basic principles of revenue management and continued with the establishment
of mathematical models and its optimal solution. Modeling procedure is the problem,
conceptualization, model formulation, validation, and application.
The results of the research showed, that the mathematical model of the revenue
management at the airline ticket sales was obtained, with treatments that are controlled
by a particular system. Modelling focused on pricing models that move up to obtain
the optimal solution. The optimal solution will be obtained, from the integration of
premium function by providing a uniform limit on the integration of the integration.
Furthermore, the line will be obtained, when the threshold of sales of airline ticket
which resulted in optimal revenue.
