dc.description.abstractThis title is arranged to find some factors that caused children leave their school in Seruyan (as the lowest area in education department in Middle Kalimantan) and to find the efforts that have been done by the government to prevent the children to leave their school. This research uses the Qualitative Descriptive Method, this research is based on the researchers’ opinion who try to understand the meaning of the event that related to the common people in certain meaning. Based on the description of the research result, shows that the factors that caused children leave their school in Seruyan are economy factor and the parents’ education level, environment factors include family, school and society. Economy factor and parents’ education level are the main factors that influence the children leave their school. Many efforts have been done by government to decrease this problem, like giving School Operational Helping Fund and Hoping Family Program, giving motivation, founding and also doing A, B and C Package Program.en_US
