Pengaruh Implementasi Corporate Social Responsibility PT. Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero) Terhadap Kesejahteraan Masyarakat (Studi pada Kecamatan Tangkahan, Medan Labuhan)

Abstract

In economic development, changes in public welfare are an inseparable part. Its because economic development called successful if the level of public welfare is getting higher. Nowdays, economic development not only given by the government but state companies and private companies also contribute in economic development programs. It is the underlying emergence of corporate social responsibility. The purpose of this research was to determine whether there is influence from implementation of corporate social responsibility PT. Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero) to public welfare on Kecamatan Tangkahan, Medan Labuhan. Forms of this research is associative with quantitative approach. Methods of data collection is byquestioner, and literature study. The number of samples studied were 94 people. The method used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing which consists of a coefficient of determination and partial test (t test). The process of calculating the data using statistical software SPSS version 21 for windows. The results showed that the implementation of corporate social responsinility variable partial, shows thitung (5,383)> ttable (1,986) with sig. amounted to 0, which means the implementation of corporate social responsinility variable is positive and significant impact on publicwelfare. Coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.240 which means that public welfare can be influenced by implementation of corporate social responsinility amounted to 24% while the remaining 76% was influenced by other factors not described in this study.
