Peran Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) dalam Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Toleransi pada Anak (Studi Deskriftif Tk Pamardi Siwi PTPN Nusantara IV Kebun Ajamu Kecamatan Panai Hulu Kabupaten Labuhan Batu)
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe the education of tolerance
values in TkPamardiSiwi PTPN Nusantara IV KebunAjamu. The description is
related to the role of TK educators, curriculum function in education, forms of
tolerance values. The introduction and habituation of teachers, teacher
constraints in the introduction and habituation of education values of tolerance,
and the Wayteachersovercomeeducationalconstraints.
The type of research used is qualitative with descriptive method. Data
collection techniques in this study using prmer data is data obtained from
observations and in-depth interviews, and secondary data is data obtained
through scientific journals, thesis, the results of appropriate research.
The results of this study show that the education of tolerance values in
TkPamardiSiwi is done by recognition and habituation, the education of tolerance
values that teachers do through the ability to control themselves interact with the
environment that is: cooperative with friends, showing tolerant attitude,
expressing emotions in accordance with the conditions (Familiar, sad,
enthusiastic and so on), knowing about etiquette and courtesy in accordance with
local socio-cultural values, understanding rules and discipline, showing empathy,
having a persistent (not easily giving up) attitude, being proud of their own work,
and Appreciate the superiority of others, the obstacles in the recognition and
habituation of the educational values of the lack of understanding of teachers
about the characteristics of early childhood, and the lack of awareness of parents
to the education of tolerance values become an obstacle to the tolerance of
students in TkPamardiSiwi, in overcoming the obstacles of recognition and
habituation pen Discipline of teachers follow training conducted by the education
office, and teachers to discuss to parents when parents pick up the child home
school about the development of children. 1) The character education materials in
kindergarten PamardiSiwi include the main values developed in the form of
creative, independent and divine values, along with the development of other
values related to divine values including patience, agility, tolerance, help,
responsibility, honesty and humility 2) Character education method in
kindergarten PamardiSiwi using exemplary method, facilitation of values and
skills 3) Character educator in kindergarten PamardiSiwi is a classroom teacher
and principal, no other school residents become character educators 4)
Evaluation of character education in kindergarten PamardiSiwi done By using
behavioral evaluation.
