dc.description.abstractobjective: Colorectal cancer is the most common malignancy of the gastrointestinal tract. Approximately 90% of all cancer deaths caused by the spread · of metastases from primary tumors. lri colorectal cancer metastases to the liver occurs in 20% - 70% of patients, and pulmonary metastases about 10% - 20%. Studies based on autopsy results showed that up to 70% of patients with colorectal cancer have liver metastases at the autopsy. Although the issue, the histological level has been demonstrated by a number of multi variate analysys to be independent prognostic factor - staging in colorectal cancer. In particular, high grade tumor has proven to be a poor prognostic factor. Histology is an important factor in the etiology, treatment and prognosis of cancer. A study was conducted to determine the relationship between grading histopathologi with the occurrence of colorectal cancer metastases. Materials and method: Colorectal cancer patients who enter hospital data were collected through medical records to examine the histopathology of data and the presence or absence of metastases. Then analyzed the relationship between grading histopathologi with the occurrence of colorectal cancer metastases. Result: A Total of 40 patients with colorectal cancer data retrieved. Histopathology grade and presence or absence of metastase were analyzed statistically using chi square cross tabulation to determine the relationship between the two variables. We found no relationship (p = 0,514) between histopathology and the metastase. Similarly norelationship is found ( p = 0,321) between histopathology grade with metastase Conclusion In this study found no association between the occurrence of histopathologi grading of colorectal cancer metastasesen_US
