Etos Kerja Penenun dalam Meningkatkan Status Ekonomi di Pabrik Pertenunan Ulos Sianipar Medan

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the work ethic of ulos weavers in Ulos Sianipar Medan weaving plant in improving economic status for their daily survival. This research was conducted at Ulos Sianipar Weaving Factory in Jalan Menteng Raya AR Hakim Gg.Pendidikan No.130, Medan Denai Sub-district. The work ethic of a work ethic is a set of positive behaviors and the foundation of genuine and authentic success that includes motivations that drive their actions, key characteristics, basic spirit, basic thought, ethical code, moral code, code of conduct, attitudes, aspirations, beliefs Beliefs, principles, and standards. The research method used is descriptive research method of quantitative survey. Sampling technique is with total population because, this research object has a small population. Thus, the sample in this study is with the total population or total population is 60 people. The data collection of this research is through primary data by observation, and distributing research questionnaire. While the secondary data collection is refrensi books, magazines, online media, journals, theses, opinions of experts / experts, etc.. From the results of research conducted, weaving work ethic at Ulos Sianipar weaving factory is tend to be high because the percentage of answers agree to scale the attitude is also high. Increased work ethic will also cause the weavers to gain an improved economic status as well.
