Abstract

Skill development program is a from of empowerment training conducted by prison to empower prisoners to have talent skill and prepare prisoners in entrepreneurship. This study aims to determine how the readiness of male prisoners in entrepreneurship in prison class II.A Rantau Prapat. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive approach that aims to describe the readiness of entrepreneurial entrepreneurs who follow skills training program. The location of the study was conducted in prison class II.A Rantau Prapat, South Rantau Sub-district, Stone District of Harbor, North Sumatera. Informants consist of prisoners, prison guards and former inmates. Data collection techniques used include: observation, in-depth interviews and documentation.Results of field research that prisoners of class II.A Rantau Prapat who followw the skill training program already have talent skill and ready to entrepreneurship.
