BACKGROUND : The risk factor of cAD : Hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, hypertension,
smoking habit, age, sex and genetic, Knowing that risks in cAD is to count the ratio LDL
cholesterol/ IIDL cholesterol > 5 have the risk 6 times . Aiming this ratio, maintaine the
clinical guidnes in cAD therapy. Rate of Apo 8166 corl also discribe the risk of cAD 6 times
if Apo B 100 > 120 mgdl.
METEODS : This study is conducted by crosscectional, and obsevational analysis in
Depatement of clinical Patology and cardiology Departement r-rf Medical school of North
Sumatera university. The population are the patients aidmit to cardiology Departement with
cAD who already had Angiography : 72 persons with stenosis < 70%o and stenosis > ?Oyo (
inclution and eksclution ) and had LDL cholesterol and HDL cholesterol and Apo B 166 -
LDL cholesterol and HDL cholesterol had been analysed with methode of colorrmetric
erzimatic, Apo B 166 is analysed with imunoturbidimetry.
RESULT : on pairing t-test there is found a significant different LDL/IIDL ratio and rate
Apo B vgo to both groups ( p:0.0001). On a correlation test is found a significant correlation
between the stenosis in cAD ( stenosis < 70vo and stenosis > 70% ) with LDLIHDL ratio
and rate Apo B;oot p:0,0001)
coNCLUsroN : From this study we gain ratio LDL cholestrol HDl cholesterol and Apo B
roo that can predict the severity of stenosis in CAD.
