Strategi Pengembangan UKM Melalui Analisis SWOT pada Bengkel Firdana Service di Desa Tawar Sedenge, Kecamatan Bandar, Kabupaten Bener Meriah
Abstract
In the middle of 1997. The state aconomy suffered a prolongled financial
crisis. Realizing that, the small and medium enterprises (SME) was the best
solution because SME can created jobs that can reduced the problemof
unemployments in Indonesia. Firdana repair car Service is one of growing SME in
Bener meriah. Especially in Bandar Sub-district. In this modern Era four-Wheel
transpaortation (Car) have become a fundamental requirement for upper middle
class society. It's proved by increasingly demanded the number of new and used
car every year. With high rated grow of the car, that's mean the rated of car
damage can be even more because of the oppurtunity was not wasted ny SME
Firdana reapir car service. In that location also contained a similar business, this
repair car service needs a strategy to always competitive and can more develop the
business then others competitors.
To create a business development strategy, it's need SWOT analysis, in
which, in analyze with using SWOT it will be used grouping internal and
eksternal factors of business, then the stage of EFAS, IFAS, Cartecian diagram and SWOT matriks, then phased the business development strategies that have
been implemented.
The form of research that have been used in this research was used
descriptive kualitatif method. Informant in this reasearch was set into two,
namely, key informant and main informant. If looked from source of the data,
then the data collection it used the primary and secondary sources. And tehnique
analysis the data in this research was used. SWOT analysis, there are
identification and classification of internal and eksternal factors. To find out the
strength, weakness, opportunities and threats, then analyzed to determined the
condition of firdana car repair service and then to formulated the development of
strategy to be implemented.
The result of this research showed that firdana car repair service was in
quadran I. In cartesian diagram where the strength high than weakness and
opportunities was high than threat. Based on SWOT analysis, the strategy that can
be applied to firdana repair car service is an strategy that supported with an agresif
policy, in firdana car reapair service was diversification strategy, penetration
market, and four alternative strategy SO ( Strength Opportunity)
