The development of today’s business world is advancing. One business
that has experienced the development and improvement is a business in the
industrial sector. PT Soci Mas is an industrial company that continues to grow and
has a number of employees that many. In this study authors used the leadership
and organizational culture as an independent variable that will effect on employee
performance.
This study aimed to analyze the three hypotheses, namely: 1. The
influence of leadership on the performance of employees, 2. The influence of
organizational culture on employee performance, 3. Effect of leadership and
organizational culture on employee performance. The sampling method used is
proportional random sampling. The sample size was obtained by 83 people who
are employees who possess a working period of more than one year and an
operational employees at PT. Soci Mas Deli Serdang.
The results showed that all three hypotheses can be accepted. These results
indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the Employee
Performance Leadership, Organizational Culture with Employee Performance and
Leadership and Organizational Culture for Employee Performance. This is
evidenced by the t-test and significance value that has been set is 0.05. It can also
be proved by test-F where the value of 0.000 significance smaller than 0.05. The
coefficient of determination on Employee Performance shown by R Square is
0.514, which means that 51.4% Employee performance is influenced by variables
of leadership and organizational culture, while 48.67% is influenced by other
variables that are not included in this study.
