Today the business is greatly increased rapidly so that by itself increases the
increasingly sharp competition among entrepreneurs This causes employers should
increase the capacity of human resources , these resources require any motivation as
the accomplishment of any desire or what they need.
Motivation is defined as a boost for employment , employee performance is the
most important characteristic that determines the success of an organization or work in
quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out their duties in accordance
with the responsibilities given to him

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee
performance at PT . Asa Karya Perkasa , which is located on Jl . Gatot Subroto - field
that moves in the field of employment that distribute a variety of employment security.
This study is a direct ( field ) . The data used are primary data collected through
questionnaires , interviews and observation . While the selection of the sample using the
method of total sampling with 100 respondents . The data were analyzed quantitatively
by simple linear regression analysis method
These test results show that the motivation to have a pretty good relationship
with performance. It can be seen from the coefficient of determination ( R2 ) of 0.597 ,
which means work motivation can influence the performance of employees is equal to
59.7 % in PT . Asa Karya Perkasa Medan
