Businesses potato chips is one of the business undertaken by Mak Atik in
earning to meet everyday needs.This effort has been six years survived by producing
and selling snacks potato chips. This research was conducted in potato chips business
Mak Atik jl. Marelan pasar1 rail.
The reason researchers took the title Analysis of Small Business Development
Strategy for the Ati Mak productive effort (many fans to buy their products). The
problems to be studied first. Strategies can be applied to what potato chips Mak
Enterprises Atik in developing a business, 2. Internal factors whatever the strengths
and weaknesses of potato chips Mak Enterprises Atik in achieving its objectives, 3.
What are the external factors into the opportunities and threats to the business activity
berepengaruh Mak Atik potato chips.The method used is a qualitative method. As for
the interview sample are business owners and employees as many as 5 people and
consumers who come in as many as 50 people. Data obtained from observation,
interviews, and library research.
The results show that the strategy can be applied to small businesses Mak
Atik potato chips are 1. Strategies that can be applied to business Mak Atik potato
chips for enterprise development is a SWOT analysis, which is to offer a quality
product at an affordable price in accordance with the wishes of consumers and
maintain a friendly service to maintain customer loyalty. 2. Internal factors are the
strengths and weaknesses that affect business development in potato chips Mak
Enterprises Atik. The power factor is composed of Strategic Location, affordable,
adequate facilities, equipment to help complete production process, product quality,
employee-friendly to consumers, employees were disciplined. Factors weakness
consists of products do not have a brand, promotion less, do not have the financial
statements, the lack of training of employees, and number of employees are still little.
And 3.External factors into opportunities and threats affecting enterprise development
in potato chips Mak Enterprises Atik. Chance factor consists of the low bargaining
power of suppliers, the people whose hobby snacking, the development of technology
from year to year. Threat factors consist of the emergence of new competitors, and
the number of substitutes.
