dc.description.abstract | Success in establishing and implementing business Policies come from a
good strategic management process. An increase in the volume of sales is the
expected end result of any business in terms of whether the business suffered a
profit or not. As for the purpose of penetian is to provide a description of the
product, pricing policy, promotion and selection of place in increasing the volume
of sales in 2011-2013, which was held on UD. Rezeki Baru Pelajar Street Medan.
The marketing mix is one of the important things that can give birth to a
business policy that is right for a company. According to Koetler and Armstrong
(2003: 78) the marketing mix is a series of tactical marketing tools that can be
controlled product, price, place, promotion of combined by the company to
produce the desired response company in the target market. Koetler (2000: 195)
the sales volume of goods that are sold in the form of money for a certain period
of time and it has good service strategy.
This research was conducted by using descriptive and qualitative
approachment. It applied Purposive Sampling as a part of Non Probability
Sampling technique. There were 13 informants for this research who were divided
into key informant, main informant and additional informants. In order to analyze
the data, this research also used reduction, display and verification data
technique.
In general, UD.Rezeki Baru applied business policy in marketing mix.
Applied business policy is not officially written, nevertheless orally notified by yhe
owner to all employees. This research indicates that marketing mix able to
increase sales volume at UD.Rezeki Baru from 2011 to 2013. The most business
Policies play a role in increasing the volume of sales is a product that includes
variations of the product and the size of the product packaging . Promotion policy
is a policy that needs to be increase by UD.Rezeki Baru to further improve the
