    Abstract
This research is intended to know the influence of concentration and length of gibcrelin soaking on some temperature as well as the interactiun toward the fission of dormansi potatoes (Solanwn tuberoswn. L). This research 1s canied out in microbiology laborato1j agriculture faculty and biology laboratory FMIPA, north sumatera university which is lasting from April up to j uly 2004. The design of research is split-split plot design consisting of 3 (tpree) factors. Main flot is the concentration of giberehn GA3 (G), consisting of 4 (four) level, G l (3,5 ppm), G2 (8.5 ppm), 03 (13.5 ppm) and G4 (18.5 ppm). Srna1l plot is the old treatment for GA3 (W) soaking consisting of 3 level : W1 ( 4 hours), W2 ( 8 hours), and W3 ( 12 hours). Small plot is th treatment for temperature ( S) consisting of 3 level : S 1 (20°C), S2 (25°C) and S3 (30°C). The observation js done to amount of shoot per ro:Jt (fruit\ length of germination (days), amount of shoot on the end of research (fruits), th1 ;-: amount of roots having shoot (fruit), length of shoot ( cm). The result of research shows that the ·increasing of Ci A:; 1-_:(mccntration become I S.5 ppm is able to acceleration the time of germination f()r p'.1iato become 67.44 days, to increase the amount of shoot on the end of research ,vhich is need 120 days become 3.24 fruits. The treatment of length of GA3 soaking does not gives response toward the observed parameter. Higher temperature until 25°C giving rnay accelerated the time of germination for the root become 65.S ! days further, ·it is reduced again become 85.97 fruits and to increase the amount of shoot on the end of research become 3.96 fruits then, it is reduced again become 2.56 fruits and to increase the amount of roots having shoot become 5.67 fruits as well as able to increase the length of shoot become 2.09 cm. The combination on the treatment of GA.1 concentration on some temperature give positive response between concentration treatment and length of soaking GA3 in increas·ing the lerigth of shoot (G 1 W3 & G2W2 : 2.16 cm). The interaction of length of GAi soaking with some temperature is increasing the amount of root having shoot (W2SJ : 5.84 fruits). The combination between the treatment of concentration and length or GA3 soaking on some temperature gives positive response by increasing the amount of root for having shoot (6.00 fruits).
