Penyuluhan Program BKKBN Mengenai Generasi Berencana dan Sikap Remaja (Studi Komparasi terhadap Sikap Remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban dan SMA Negeri 13 Medan)

Abstract

This thesis is titled BKKBN's Program Extension About Generation Planning and Adolescent's Attitude. This research contained the comparison of adolescent's attitude after getting information from program's extension agent on students of SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban and SMA Negeri 13 Medan. This research used Development Communication Theory, Diffusion of Innovation Theory, Knowledge Attitude Practice Theory, Two Step Flow Communication Model, and Multistep Flow Communication Model. This research used comparative method Populations in this research were 271 students at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban and 190 students at SMA Negeri 13 Medan who have got BKKBN's program extension about generation planning. Total samples were determined by using Slovin's formula. Total samples were 73 respondents at SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban and 66 respondents at SMA Negeri 13 Medan. Sampling technique was proportionate stratified random sampling Data collected by using questionare, interview and library research. The results of Mann-Whitney U test showed Asymp. Sig (2- tailed) for BKKBN's program extension about generation planning variable is 0,002, meanwhile Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) for adolescent's attitude variable is 0,057 Based on statistic result can be concluded that even the extension are different but there is no difference on attitudes between SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban and SMA Negeri 13 Medan. It is because of the BKKBN's program extension about generation planning at SMA Negeri 1 Set Bamban is as effective as at SMA Negeri 13 Medan although the different location Subject of BKKBN's program extension about generation planning is compatible with adolescent's need recently so the extension is interesting and easily accepted by the students both schools.
