Kampanye ASI Eksklusif oleh Asosiasi Ibu Menyijsui Indonesia (AIMI) Cabang Sumatera Utara terhadap Tindakan Pembertan ASI Eksklusif

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of breastfeeding campaign by Asosiasi Ibu Menyusui Indonesia (AIMI) Cabang Sumatera Utara to exclusive breastfeeding action. Theory of communication development, campaign, adoption and exclusive breastfeeding are used in this research. The correlation method is used in this research Techniques of data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to the 82 respondent (based formula Slovin) Data have been obtained were analyzed using single table, cross data tables analysis and hypothesis testing using the Spearman rho rank. Significant influence of exclusive breastfeeding campaign by Asosiasi Ibu Menyusui Indonesia (AIMI) Cabang Sumatera Utara to the actions of exclusive breastfeeding are founded in this reseacrh By using the scale Guilford showed significant relationship. The study's findings also indicate the age factor, the employment status and family income (variable moderation) may slightly strengthen the influence of the exclusive breastfeeding campaign program by AIMI Branch of North Sumatra, others is influenced by other factor not examined in this research.
