dc.description.abstract | The web-based virtual manufacture systems can be used for improving the cylindrical machining product design. The problem can be reduced by the development of method through of rhe integration in Design For Manufacture, Machining (DFM machining) method, Virtual Afanufacture and Machining (VM machining) method be based on information technology (web). The DFM machining method is developed based on Boothroyd-Dewhurst method is used for machining analysis and evaluation, whereas VM machining method is used for product design visualisation. The development of software for zhe method was carried out on Visual Basic 6. 0, Virtual Reality Modeling Language 97 (VRML 97), Cosmoplayer 2.1.1, and Server Web software. The software developed was named is PDMl's system. The results which obtained to indicate the PDMJ's system was developed can be reduced the production time and cost in qualitaiiveiy. 1t can be concluded that PDMl's system is usefull for improving the cylindrical machining product design. | en_US |
