    Abstract
    This study aims to determine the role of friendship quality on social laziness in students. The subjects used in this study were active undergraduate students, totaling 257 students. This study uses quantitative methods. The method of data collection was carried out using the Friendship Quality (FQUA) scale and the Social Loafing Tendency Questionnaire (SLTQ). The analytical method used in this study is to use a simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that the quality of friendship has a role of 6.8% with social laziness in students. The implication of this study is to increase understanding of the role of friendship quality on social laziness in students when they want to form a task group
