    Anteseden Kepuasan Kerja Dan Komitmen Organisasi Serta Pengaruhnya Pada Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) Di Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara

    Abstract
    The purpose of this research is to conduct both direct and effect of job characteristics, individual characteristics, person organization fit toward job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and performances of civil servant in North Sumatera. This research was conducted through several primary data surveys and direct field identificationson several district that were selected by using proportional random sampling with a population of 379 respondents and sample of 195 respondents. The hypothesis analysis tool is the Structural Equational Modelling approuch with LISREL test tool. The result showed that there are direct and indirect effect of job characteristics, individual characteristics, person organization fit toward job satisfaction, organizational commitment and performances of civil servant in North Sumatera. The person Organizational Fit variable has no effect on organizational commitment, and individual characteristics variable has no effect on performance.
     
    Penelitian ini mengangkat tentang pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh tidak langsung dari Karakteristik Pekerjaan, Karakteristik Individu, Person-Organization Fit terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Organisasi, dan Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Propinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data utama dari beberapa daerah terpilih, mengambil 195 sampel responden dari 379 populasi yang diteliti. Dalam proses pengambilan hipotesa Penulis menggunakan Structural Equational Modelling (SEM) dengan perangkat LISREL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh tidak langsung dari Karakteristik Pekerjaan, Karakteristik Individu, Person Organization Fit terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Organisasi dan Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Propinsi Sumatera Utara. Namun demikian ditemukan juga bahwa variabel Karakteristik Individu tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi, begitu juga halnya dengan variabel Karakteristik Individu tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil.
