dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research aims to see the perception of the public of
Medan to the administrative costs of banking. Perception of society in terms of
willingness and ability to pay administrative costs. The administrative cost is part
of the banking service system is increasing and increasingly taken into account
along with economic growth as well as the bank continues to support the financial
system better.
The research uses primary and secondary data in the process of
completion, supported by the literature and distributing questionnaires to the
respondents to target research that banking customers in the city of Medan.
The results indicates that most of the respondents still do not know the
exact number of bank administration fees they have to pay. Many also of
customers who memeiliki revenue was more than enough for a month and can
afford to pay the administrative costs, but still reluctant to want to pay an
administration fee set by the bank. In general, respondents are more willing and
able to pay the administrative fee based on their reasonableness ie at the price of
