Pengaruh Tingkat Okupasi Hotel dan Jumlah Wisatawan Terhadap Penerimaan Sektor Pariwisata di Kabupaten Simalungun

Abstract

The problem formulation in this research is how far tourist attractions, the level of hotel occupations affect the acceptance of tourism sector and also how far the number of tourists affect the acceptance of tourism sector in Simalungun Regency. The purpose of this research is to understand the effect of the level of hotel occupations and the number of tourists to the acceptance of tourism sector. The hypothesis in this research is that there is an impact of tourist attractions, level of hotel occupations, and also the number of tourists towards the acceptance of tourism sector. The primary data collection has been conducted through questionnaires that have been distributed to the respondents, who are the tourists visiting the location being observed in this research. The method for analysis is descriptive quantitative using multiple linear regression. The hypothesis testing of tourist attractions and the number of tourists show that both variables give positive impact towards the acceptance of tourism sector, while the level of hotel occupation gives negative impact to the acceptance towards the acceptance of tourism sector. Partial test shows that all of the observed variables do not give significant impact towards the acceptance of tourism sector.
