dc.description.abstract | Research on the growth of mustard samhong (Brassica juncea L.) with liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) nutrients from tofu waste in the Wick hydroponic system has been carried out from October to December 2021 at the Aceh Tamiang Hydroponic Management Center, Aceh. The aim of the study was to determine the response of growth and production of samhong mustard with LOF nutrients to tofu waste and to obtain the best concentration for growth and production of mustard greens. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of five concentrations of tofu waste LOF, namely 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20 percent. Liquid organic fertilizer from tofu waste significantly affected plant height and number of leaves of samhong mustard at two to five weeks after treatment, wet weight and dry weight of samhong mustard. Liquid organic fertilizer tofu waste had no significant effect on chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and total chlorophyll leaves, relative growth rate at one to five weeks after treatment (WAT). Plant height and number of leaves increased as the concentration of tofu LOF was increased by up to 20 percent. The increase in plant height was between 101% to 113 percent. Increase in the number of leaves between 104% to 126 percent. The concentration of LOF 20% gave the highest plant height of 24.14 cm, the highest number of leaves 6.80, the highest wet weight was 80.73 g and the highest dry weight was 9.02 grams. The highest relative growth rate was at the age of two to three weeks after treatment at all LOF concentrations of tofu waste. The content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and total chlorophyll in samhong mustard leaves decreased significantly due to the provision of LOF tofu waste. | en_US |
