dc.description.abstract | Endoparasite infection on cotton chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus) in Taman Satwa Citra Pesona Ladangku, Pancur Batu, Deli Serdang, North Sumatera was conducted in June 2022. The purpose was to determine infection, analyze prevalence and intensity of endoparasite on cotton chicken. The sample used was feces of 14 cotton chicken. Sampling was carried out 2 times, samples were taken once a week for two weeks. Samples were observed in the laboratory of parasitology, Balai Veteriner Medan using EGP Mc. Master method. The results found 5 species of endoparasite in cotton chicken such as Ascaridia sp., Capillaria sp., Eimeria sp., Heterakis sp. and Strongyloides sp.. The feces of the cotton chicken was infected by Ascaridia sp. with a prevalence 25% in oftenly category and the attack intensity 542,85 in very heavy category; Heterakis sp. had a prevalence 28,57% (Often) an attack intensity of 400 (very heavy); Strongyloides sp. had a prevalence 25% (Often) intensity infection of 457,14 (very heavy); Capillaria sp. had a prevalence 82,14 (Usually) an attack intensity of 660,86 (very heavy); and Eimeria sp. had a prevalence 67,85 (Frequently) an attack intensity of 2.957 (Super infection). The most prevalent parasite was Capillaria sp. had a prevalence 82,14 in the Usually category, and the most intensity parasite was Eimeria sp. in the super infection category. | en_US |
