dc.description.abstractThe research of Multifactor Comparison Pattern of Prisoner Fingerprints between the prisoner of Tanjung Gusta Medan and Unprisoned, was done in Tanjung Gusta Medan and Genetic Laboratory FMIPA University of Sumatera Utara from November until December 2008. The data which was often from fingerprint percentage for each sample. The fingerprint percentage analyzed by using chi-square (x2 ). The result data show the fingerprint percentage of each level between normal group and the prisoners are different, that the percentage of normal group loop = 67%, whorl = 28.2%, arch = 4.8%, drugs; Loop = 60%, Whorl = 33%, Arch = 7%.Theft; Loop = 59%, Whorl = 31%, Arch = 10%, murder; Loop = 15%, Whorl = 20%, Arch = 30%. The statistica test, chi-square test shows that fingerprint of normal group for drugs and theft is not different while murder was different.en_US
