Research on "Making Animal Feed Fish from the single cell protein of photosynthetic
bacteria Utilizing Waste Anoksigenik With Tapioca Flour That Tested In Nila Fish
(Oreochromis niloticus)" has been conducted in the laboratory of Microbiology
Department of Biology, Laboratory of Biochemistry Department of Chemistry Faculty
of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Technology Laboratory Results Agriculture
(THP) Faculty of Agriculture University of North Sumatra and the Laboratory of
Water Environmental Impact Management Agency of North Sumatera Regional
(BAPEDALDASU) from November 2008 until September 2009. This study aims to
determine the effect anoxygenik photosynthetic bacterium Rhodopseudomonas
palustris as sigle cell protein in the conversion of conventional protein in fish feed.
BFA isolated from nature and grown in mineral medium modifications, measured
ability to grow on waste tapioca flour, then heavy counting of protein content of cells
and bacteria fotosintetic anoksigenic. Protein sel conversion performed in the form of
a single fish. Tests performed on the fish tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Data
obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and showed that the quality
of feed which is converted by a single-cell protein 0% treatment, 25%, 35% 30%
showed no real difference to the length of the body, the addition of fish weight, the
rate of growth per daily, mortality rate and change the value of the feed.
