dc.description.abstractResearch about the Diversity Of Macrozoobenthic in Belawan river flow Pancur Batu Subdistrict and Sunggal Subdistrict Deli Serdang Regency have been done in May 2009 and from this research we want to know Sampel were collected from five Stations by Purposive Random Sampling method. Surber net’s was used to taken the sampel. Samples were identified in Laboratory Animal Systematic, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Sciences of North Sumatera University, Medan. The result showed that there were found 33 genera of macrozoobenthic within 4 phylum, 5 class, 11 ordo, and 22 family. The highest population density was Pomatiopsis with 101,48 ind/m2 that was founded in Station five. The highest diversity index (H’) of makrozoobenthic was founded in Station two with 2,42 and the smallest in Station five with 0,58. The highest equitability index was founded in Station two with 0,92 and smallest in Station five with 0,28. The highest similarity index was found between Station one and Station three with 64,51% and smallest between Station two and Station four with 27,27%. From according to the analysis of Pearson Correlation, penetration, light intensity, DO, Oxygen saturation has the direct correlated to the diversity of macrozoobenthic, while light temperature, current velocity, pH, BOD5, COD, and substrat organic has the opposite correlated to the diversity of macrozoobenthic.en_US
