dc.description.abstractHave done determine free fatty acid of Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) and Crude Coconut Oil (CNO) that is get from.Dumai and North Sumatera. Taking of CPKO and CNO have done with the way of random. One of the quality standart from CPKO and CNO is free fatty acid. Free fatty acid is caused by hydrolises reaction that make the rancid of oil. Determine free fatty acid of CPKO and CNO have done with volumetric method. From this analysis is get that free fatty acid of CPKO from Dumai is 3,78% and CPKO from North Sumatera is 2,67%. In addition, for CNO from Dumai is 2,42% and CNO from North Sumatera is 2,05%. The result of analysis free fatty acid are suit with quality standart by MEOMA (Malaysian Edible Oil of Manufacture Association).en_US
