Edwardsiella tarda is a bacterium that causes edwardsielosis on fish and able to form biofilm on solid surface. The aim of this research was to control E. Tarda biofilm using antibacterial compound of lactid acid bacteria (LAB) isolated from Osphronemous gouramy. There were 14 LAB isolates, among them PG7 was found as a potential biocontrol agent which showed the highest inhibition (8.15 mm) compare to others. PG7 was used to produce antibacterial compound to control biofilm cells of E. Tarda which was performed in 1, 3, 5 days in nutrition broth medium on fish scale and Polyvinyl cloride then were detached using micro glass bead for counting by TPC. The highest number of biofilm cells were found at 3 days incubation as much 1012 CFU/chip. Controlling biofilm cell of E. tarda with crude extract of antibacterial compound of LAB PG7 isolate reduced 18% biofilm cell of E. tarda. It was concluded that biofilm E. tarda difficult to control and crude extract can inhibit biofilm cells of E. tarda by 18%.en_US
