Komposisi dan Distribusi Mesofauna Tanah di Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit Pt Moeis dan Perkebunan Rakyat di Desa Simodong Kecamatan Sei Suka Kabupaten Batu Bara

Abstract

The composition and distribution of soil animal in PT. Moeis and Simodong Estate, District Sei Suka, Subprovince Batu Bara has been investigated February 2009. Sampling area was determinated by using Purposive Random Sampling method and sampling was collected using pit fall trap, square and hand sorting method. The results of research showed that on location I found 11 species, they are: Euschistus sp, Rhagovelia sp, Dolomedes sp, Lyssomanes viridis, Argiope sp, Cardiocondyla sp, Dolichoderus sp, Byturus sp, Geotrupes sp, Anthrenus sp, Cylisticus sp. Location II it was 12 species, they are: Dolomedes sp, Lyssomanes viridis, Argiope sp, Loxosceles sp, Oxyopes sp, Cardiocondyla sp, Dolichoderus sp, Byturus sp, Geotrupes sp, Chelymorpha sp, Cylisticus sp, Dermacentor sp. The highest soil animal density found in location I presented by Cardiocondyla sp with the number for 126,29 organism/m2 . While the highest existence frequency with the number 54%. There are 2 species of soil animals that alive better in each location, consist of Cardiocondyla sp and Dolichoderus sp. To assess the index morista ( distribution) >1 and < 1 in each location pertained by in groups and regular distribution. The similarities index of soil animals found between location I and location II with the number 70%.
