Studi Keanekaragaman Ikan Karang di Kawasan Perairan Bagian Barat Pulau Rubiah Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam

Abstract

The research with the title “Study of Reef Fish Diversity At The west Part Oceanik Of Rubiah Island Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam” have been done at May 2009. This Research is done with the method of Purpossive Random Sampling that is determine 2 research station of pursuant to difference of society activity that goes on around this oceanik. Reef fish survey done at the transect that sized 4 x 50 metres by 3 restating times rill each research station. This research target is to see the diversity of reef fish and the correlation between chemical physical factor with the reef fish diversity. From result identify to the reef fish obtained a class reef fish which pertained in 1 ordo, 16 set of family and 30 genus and 51 species. The highest abundance and relative abundance is obtained at Pomacentrus spilotoceps that is 0,985 ind/m2 and 19,818 %. The lowest abundance and relative abundance at more spesies that is 0,005 ind/m2 and 0,181 %. The highest diversity index are at station 1 that is 2,3 while the lowest are at station 2 that is 1,76. Highest similarity index there are at station 1 that is 0,66 while the lowest of similarity index there are at station 2 that is 0,65. From result of correlation analysis known that the relation between variety index and chemical physical factor value is strong correlation.
