Analisis Strategi Pengembangan Sistem Jaringan Transportasi Jalan Siborongborong - Aek Humbang terhadap Pengembangan Wilayah Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara (Studi Kasus Kecamatan Siborongborong, Sipahutar, Pangaribuan dan Garoga)

Abstract

Economic growth will stimulate the increase in the transportation sector in supporting the achievement of development goals and outcomes. Otherwise, the function of transportation sector will stimulate increased economic development, therefore the transportation sector and economic development have causal relationship. Transportation is an activity of movement of goods and passangers from one place to another involves too important elements, namely the transfer/ movement and physically change the place goods (commodities) and passengers elsewhere. Transportation thereby functioning encourage production activities in a region. Good transport arrangements will be formed according to regional characteristics to the movement of people and goods, socio economic improvement will be able to influence transportation demand. The main function of road was to provide services to transport users to be able drive with a smooth, safe and comfortable. Performance road is a quantitative values expressed in that road capacity, average speed, travel time and ratio of stopped vehicles. Research area includes the districts Siborongborong, Sipahutar, Pangaribuan, and Garoga which administratively government is regency of Tapanuli Utara. The method of the study included qualitative and quantitative. The hypothesis test used regression analysisfor the data collected in field Grouped analysis for 2 (two) corner of review of current conditions and forecast for future demand will be the transportation network as a result of trip generation and growth of regional development centers, both for the four districts at once and each district.
