dc.description.abstractDiversity of Fytolankton in the Lake Toba Silalahi, Dairi of North Sumatera has been studied from March to April 2015. The samples were taken from four observation stations and at every station observations were with 3 repetitions. Sampling point was determined using Purposive Random Sampling method. From the results, four phytoplankton classes of Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Coscinodiscophyceae and Cyanophyceae. The highest total value abudance of plankton was found at station 4 (339,625 ind/l) and the lowest total value was found at station 1 (219,000 ind/l). The value of diversity index (H ') was the highest in station 2 (2,8) and the lowest at station 1 (2.61). The highest index similarity (E) was found in station 2 (0,86) and the lowest was in station 1 (0,79). Pearson correlation analysis showed a very strong suhu associated with diversity index (H ') of fitoplankton.en_US
