Partisipasi Pemimpin Informal dan Dukungan Layanan Singkat Telepon Seluler terhadap Pemanfaatan Posyandu pada Ibu Balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sadabuan Kota Padangsidimpuan Tahun 2015

Abstract

Posyandu utilization is an act of mother to monitor the growth and development of under five years children. The low coverage of monitoring growth and development which is less than of national target caused Posyandu must be utilized as maximum as possible to improve the nutritional status and the health level of mother and child as an attempt to avoid the loss of the next generation. The purpose of the research was to find out and to analyze informal leaders 'participation and support from short message service (SMS) on utilization of Posyandu among mothers of under five years children. The research used mixed method (qualitative by conducting explorative study with in-depth interview and quantitative by using pre-experimental design with the one-shot case study). For qualitative study, the informant were informal leaders that consisted of traditional leaders, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, village heads, and neighborhood youth association. For quantitative study, the population were 6.116 mothers who had under five years old and 153 of them were used as the samples, taken by using simple random sampling. Data were analyzed by Poisson regression test. The result of the research showed that 54.2% of the respondents did not utilize Posya_ndu. There was the influence of participation of informal leaders (p=0.504) and SMS support (p=0.044) on Posyandu utilization. Participation of informal leaders was the most dominant influence on Posyandu utilization with the value of B coeficient = 0.504 and Prevalence Ratio (PR) = 1.656 (95% CI 1.040- 2.636). It is suggested to Puskesmas Sadabuan to increase participation of informal leaders through meeting of local residents actively, give reward to villages heads in the form of appreciation on their good performance and the utilization SA1S reminder to promote "Hari Buka Posyandu" quickly to mothers who had under five years children

Pemanfaatan Posyandu merupakan tindakan ibu untuk memantau tum.huh kembang balita setiap bulan ke Posyandu. Rendahnya pemantauan tumbuh kembang balita yang masih jauh dari target nasional mengakibatkan Posyandu harus dimanfaatkan semaksimal mungkin untuk meningkatkan status gizi dan derajat kesehatan ibu dan anak sebagai upaya mencegah hilangnya generasi penerus. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis partisipasi pemimpin informal dan dukungan layanan singkat telepon seluler terhadap pemanfaatan Posyandu pada ibu balita. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode gabungan yaitu kualitatif dilakukan studi kualitatif eksploratif dengan cara wanwancara mendalam, sedangkan kuantitatif menggunakan Pre Experimental Designs dengan jenis The One-Shot Case Study. Untuk studi kualitatif, informan adalah pemimpin informal terdiri dari pemuka adat, cerdik pandai, alim ulama, kepala desa dan karang taruna. Untuk studi kuantitatif, populasi adalah seluruh ibu yang mempunyai balita berjumlah 6.115 orang di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sadabuan Kota Padangsidimpuan dengan teknik simple random sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 153 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi Poisson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ibu kurang memanfaatkan Posyandu (54,2% ). Ada pengaruh partisipasi pemimpin informal (p=0,504) dan dukungan layanan singkat telepon seluler (p=0,044) terhadap pemanfaatan Posyandu. Partisipasi pemimpin informal merupakan variabel yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap pemanfaatan Posyandu dengan nilai koefisien B = 0,504 dan Rasio Prevalens (RP) = 1,656 (95% CI 1,040-2,636). Disarankan bagi Puskesmas Sadabuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi pemimpin informal melalui pertemuan warga setempat secara aktif, memberikan penghargaan kepada desa/kelurahan dengan cakupan penimbangan balita tertinggi sebagai bentuk apresiasi atas kerja yang baik serta memanfaatkan SMS pengingat yang mampu menginformasikan "Harl Buka Posyandu" dengan cepat pada ibu balita
