Analisis Viskositas dan Brightness Pulp pada Proses Bleaching di PT Toba Pulp Lestari,Tbk Porsea

Abstract

The analysis of viscosity in PT TOBA PULP LESTARI, Tbk PORSEA is done with Ostwald method, by using Ostwald Viscosimetre. In this method, pulp that mixed with 12,5 ml CED and 12,5 ml distillation water, included in viscosimetre which put on thermostat. That solutions are sucked by ball pipette and let it flow through the pipe until limit line, and the time that solution need to reach the limit line is write down by using stopwatch. So that viscosities value can be fixed. And the analysis of brightness is done with computerization system by using the instrument that called ELREPHO R457D65. Both of the analysis is done once time in 4 hour during the day.
