Penentuan Kadar Bilangan Iodin dari RBD Palm Olein dengan Metode Pelarut Campuran N-heksan-Asam asetat dan Pelarut Campuran Sikloheksana-Asam asetat di PT. Palmcoco Laboratories

Abstract

Iodine Value is total of iodine gram can banded by 100 gram fatty. Iodine value of depend at unsaturated fatty acid of the fatty. Unsaturated fatty acid is fatty acid that concist of singe or double bond. The determine at Iodine Value in RBD Palm Olein, used Wijs methode as it’s methodology with using mixture of N-hexane-asetic acid solvent and compered to using mixture of Cyclohexane-asetic acid. Based on analysis result gained the content of iodine value in RBD Palm Olein with using mixture of N-hexane –acetic acid solvent is RBD Palm Olein (A) = 59.14 mg/100gr, RBD Palm Olein (B) = 59.31 mg/100gr, RBD Palm Olein (C) = 59.10 mg/100gr more then comparison use Cyclohexane-asetic acid solvent is RBD Palm Olein (A) = 56.19 mg/100gr, RBD Palm Olein (B) = 56.28 mg/100gr and RBD Palm Olein (C) = 56.29 mg/100gr
