Pengaruh Temperatur terhadap Kecepatan Pengendapan Sludge dalam Crude Palm Oil pada Continous Settling Tank

Abstract

Temperature is one of the parameter which determine the velocity of sludge sedimentation of oil on continious settling tank. Compare temperature will produce good quality of oil. Low temperature or higher cause the quality of quality decrease and the process of sludge sedimentation slow motion. Has performed observation of temperature with temperature variation 60 0 C - 90 0 C. From the result of observation obtained optimal temperature 90 0 C with velocity of sedimentation 0,3507 cm/detik.
