    Abstract
    Sugar as a main food can be obtained from raw juice that contains of inpurities which is acid. In sugar manufacturing process, the quality of product is determined by the quality of juice which is obtained from purification process. The usage of SO2 gas for juice needing is used as sediment former that is by giving excess lime. The excess lime is netralized again by amount of SO2 gas. Besides, the addition of SO2 gas and excess lime will increas the acidity degree of juice from acid to be neutral.
