Abstract

At the pulp proses, cellulose and hemicellulose are separated from lignin and extractive. The function of lignin is to bind the between cellulose fibers. The main fuction of cooking is for separate the fiber by disolving the lignin of the the midlle of the lamella. The chemical in the cooking liquid is also destroyed the fiber wall and desolved lignin. Data collection technique is done by interviewing, obsevising the factory operation data, and literature survey to find the theoretical information. The data taken is that from good quality fibre at washer process. From the analized data, the writer may come to the conclusion that viscose 19 – 25.
