Keanekaragaman Burung di Hutan Batang Toru Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the bird species in Batang Toru Forest North Tapanuli. There were 4 survey location determined by point count or Indices Ponctuele d'Abundance (IPA) and Transect Method pathway. The location were in middle forest, edge forest, secondary forest and agroforestry forest. They were 81 terrestrial bird species found which were grouped into 28 families and 48 genera at reseach location. The highest diversity index was found in the Edge forest and the lowest diversity index was in the Middle forest. The highest species evennes indexes was founded in Edge forest and the lowest species evenness index was in Middle forest. There were 45 most common species of bird were founded in secondary forest, and 15 species was found in the Middle forest.
