Abstract
The process of cooking chips is the importance of process in making pulp. The one
variabels that can be influence in the cooking process is using of white liquor volume in
cooking process. Because used volume of white liquor very importance role in
delignifikation when the process of cooking chips. To get quality of good pulp can be
arranged in cooking process where volume of white liquor used is accorded with the
weight of chip and take care the influence variabels in cooking process so that is
reached the quality of good pulp. To know the quality of pulp has produced in cooking
rocess is content of lignin residu after cooking and can be knowing by determine of
kappa number
