dc.description.abstractThe determination of the percentages of petroleum fractions is the one thing which has carried out in the laboratorium of PT. Pertamina EP. Region Sumatera Field Pangkalan Susu used to conduct separate process of petroleum fractions, using Fractination Distillation. After distillation process we will know how many percentages volume from every fraction of petroleum. Before we know how many the percentages of volume from every fraction, especially gasoline fraction can assumed that the number of percentages of gasoline fraction is high or low, by firstly measuring the viscosity and pressure of crude oil itself. If the viscosity of crude oil is high the percentage of gasoline fraction will be low and vice versa, and if the pressure of crude oil is high the percentage of gasoline fraction will be high too and vice versa. In the other words, viscosity is disproporsional to the number of percentages volume of gasoline fraction and the pressure is proporsional to the number of percentages of gasoline fraction.en_US
