Penentuan Kadar Air Inti Sawit pada Kernel Silo Menggunakan Alat Moisture Analyzer di PTPN III PKS Rambutan Tebing Tinggi

Abstract

Analysis of water content on palm kernel at kernel silo at PTPN III Palm Oil Factory of Rambutan was conducted since 21 January 2008 up to 28 January 2008. Analysis by absorbtion method using the moisture analyzer. The results of analysis indicate that the water content at kernel silo oil is 6,915 % in average. The content of water of kernel oil according to the quality standard determined by govermment is less that 7%. This indicates that the water content on kernel oil at kernel silo at PTPN III Palm Oil Factory of Rambutan has fulfil the quality standard.
