dc.description.abstractBauxite contains alumina (Al2O3) as material in aluminium smelting by using Hall-Heroult electrolysis process. Alumina specification contains Na2O at its concentration that influences cryolite production. Cryolite is used as electrolyte and can to dissolves alumina. Aluminium smelting process at reduction pot must be balance. Thus, cryolite production has to be known by Na2O effect calculation in material balance at reduction pot, where maximum Na2O in PT INALUM is 0,600 % based on material specification. That must be done to get maximum material balance and stabilization keeping of reduction pot operation process.en_US
