Abstract

Pulp is made of the process of separation from some fiber materials through all of it’s process. In it’s process, pulp is made of by doing the kraft process, chip is cooked in the vessel with the cooking liquid NaOH and Na2S with the comparison of 4:1. After the finishing the cooking process, the washing process is ready to be done. It is used to reduce the remaining liquid from the cooking process which is containing the sodium. The material of sodium which is taken by the pulp material will influence the next step of pulping process. From the field research, it is obtained that the number of pulp material is about 7 – 12 kg / ton pulp. The more washing water be used, the lower containing of sodium will be.
