From the observation and analysis, it was known that there was a percentage of the excess AlF3 (Aluminium Fluoride) which unsuitable of standard (9.9% ± 1.5%), was in R-111, R-117, and R-121 pot by their each percentage was 7.1%, 13.1% and 15.1%. This excess was known because of the increase or decrease in bath temperature was not standard. It was happened because AlF3 contents in bath was too low or too high. So we needed to do the income AlF3 settings into the reduction pot so that the back reaction of aluminum into alumina or sludge formed in the bottom pot didn’t happen.en_US
