Hubungan antara Kadar Serum Testosteron pada Laki-Laki dengan Dermatofitosis yang Disebabkan oleh Spesies Trichophyton rubrum

Abstract

Background: The growth of dermatophyte fungi is influenced by testosterone in humans in vivo, for this reason needs to be measured in vitro serum levels of testosterone in patients dermatofitosis. The big difference in the results of studies conducted on the measurement of serum testosterone levels in patients dermatofitosis especially those caused by T. rubrum due to inhibitory effect of testosterone is still not clearly understood. Objective: To find out the correlation between serum testosterone levels in men with dermatophytosis caused by T. rubrum Methods: This study is an observational analitic research with cross sectional design. Diagnosis based on anamnesis, dermatological physical examination, fungal culture examination by SDA media and testosterone levels examination. Result : This study followed 38 conviets consisting of 19 patients with dermatophytosis caused by T. rubrum and 19 in controls. Of the 19 people with dermatophytosis caused by T. rubrum, 18 people have serum testosterone levels in the normal range (94.7%). Conclusion: That there is no correlation between serum testosterone levels in man with the incidence of dermatophytosis by T. rub rum.

Latar belakang : Pertumbuhan jamur dennatofita dipengaruhi oleh honnon testosteron pada manusia secara in vivo, karena alasan ini secara in vitro perlu diukur kadar serum honnon testosteron pada pasien dermatofitosis. Adanya perbedaan hasil penelitian-penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap pengukuran kadar serum testosteron pada penderita dermatofitosis khususnya yang disebabkan oleh T. robrom dikarenakan efek hambat hormon testosteron ini masih kurang dipahami dengan j elas.

Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar serum testosteron pada laki- laki dengau denuatofitosis yang disebabkan oleh T. rnbrum.

Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan rancang potong lintang ( cross sectional). Diagnosis ditegakkan berdasarkan anaim1esis, pemeriksaan fisik, pemeriksaan kultuc jamur dengan media SDA dan kadar testosteron. Hasil : Penelitian ini rnengikuti 38 orang narapidana yang terdiri dari 19 orang dengan dermatofitosis yang disebabkan oleh T. rnbrum dan 19 orang kontrol. Dari 19 orang dengan dermatofitosis yang disebabkan oleh T. rubnm1, 18 orang mempunyai kadar serum testosteron dalam batas normal (94,7%). Kesimpulan : Bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara kadar serum testosteron pada laki-laki dengan kejadian dennatofitosis yang disebabkan oleh T. rubrum
