Cotyledon culturing has been done in the Tissue Culture Laboratory, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, University of North Sumatera. The tissue culturing was done using non-factorial Complete Random Design with the treatment using Benzylaminopurin (BAP) in 5 different concentrations, which were 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 ppm respectively. Every treatment was repeated for six times and observed for four weeks. The result of the research showed that the success percentage of the cotyledon culturing were 75%. The BAP concentration of 4 ppm was the best concentration for the root length and bud length growth, 2 ppm was the best concentration for the bud quantity growth, 0 ppm (control) was the best for the root quantity growth and 1 ppm was the best for the planlet growth.en_US
