dc.description.abstractChlorine content analysis has been conducted on the raw water production at PT. Coca-Cola Bottling Indonesia Medan with a colorimetric method using lovibond comparator 1000 that is based on comparison of color formed after the sample added indicators of the DPD (N-Diethyl-p-fenilendiamin). Data obtained by the addition of chlorine is best to be 0.04 ml in 1000 ml of water, which is conducted in laboratory experiments or 5.6 liters / hour in 40 000 liter water tank in the filter that produces chlorine content of 1.0 ppm. These data are in accordance with standards established by the SNI 06-4824-1998 namely that the content of chlorine in the water does not exceed the limit of 4.0 ppm.en_US
